A message of thanks and farewell

Today Clean Energy Project announces that we will be winding down our operations this week.

As a small non-profit, we have always faced challenges in fundraising. The National Clean Energy Summit, our signature event, has become increasingly expensive to produce over the years, and we can no longer afford to host the event. Without an annual National Clean Energy Summit as the anchor to our program, we reevaluated the organization’s sustainability and have reached the bittersweet conclusion that we have completed our mission.

The clean energy business community in Nevada will continue to have a voice through a new coalition called Clean Energy Works for Nevada. You can follow them on Twitter at @CEWorks4NV to stay up to date with the latest news on clean energy policies and investments in the state.

Over the last decade, Clean Energy Project has cheered the explosive growth of clean energy here in Nevada. You have helped us make significant contributions to the policies that drove our state’s clean energy economy. We are grateful for being able to work with you to position Nevada as a leader in clean energy and thank you for your support.
